Placing an ID Verifier account on hold

There may be verifier approval request in the system for people who's DBS have just expired, or for those who do not now wish to be verifiers.

These requests first need to be put on hold so that they can either be removed altogether or sent an invitation to complete a new DBS application (you must have a valid DBS to be an ID verifier).

In order to place a request for approval on hold, follow the simple steps below:

1. From the 'Administration' tab in the main menu, select 'ID Verifier Management'.

2. From the 'Registration and Approval Reports' select 'ID Verifiers pending approval'. In order to select this option, click on the blue hyperlinked number to the right.

3. Next, scroll down the list to the person you are looking for, tick the box next to their name, then click on the blue 'Put on hold' button underneath.

You have now placed the request on hold ready to remove it or send the person a DBS application invite.
