CVENT; Creating an Event Filter Follow
You can create a filter that allows you to quickly access events that are relevant to you.
Log in to your CVENT account and under 'Events', click 'Create View':
Basic Information: Give the view a name (e.g. Soft Ball Festivals)
Columns: Under 'Displayed Fields' click 'Add Field' to customise the information you wish to view including '# of invitees' and 'Location'. You can use the reorder feature to drag and drop the fields - we would advise dragging 'Location' to the top:
Sorting Criteria: you can change the start date from 'Descending' to 'Ascending' so your more recent events show at the top of the search
Event Shortcuts: leave this as it is
Status Viability: leave this as it is
View Filters: You can use this to customise your search criteria;
- Field > click the '-Select Field-' drop down > scroll down to '--Custom Event Field--' > select 'County Board/ACO'
- Operator > click the '-Select Operator-' drop down > select 'equals'
- Value > click the box with 3 dots in it > select your County by clicking 'Select'
click '+ Add Filter' ensuring 'And' is selected in the blue box;
- Field > click the '-Select Field-' drop down > scroll down to '--Custom Event Field--' > select 'Course'
- Operator > click the '-Select Operator-' drop down > select 'equals'
- Value > click the box with 3 dots in it > select the event code by clicking 'Select'
You can now click the 'Save' button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
You have now created a new 'View' which you can access from your 'Events' screen:
To save this view as your preferred option whenever you log in to CVENT, click the settings cog and click 'Select as Default':
