To be used when a CVENT event has been set to ‘Private’, meaning that you now must manually add an invitee directly in to the course.
Before adding a person, check that they have a CRM record because you will need the person’s name (first and last) and email address to match up with what you will enter in to CVENT. This is to avoid creating duplicate accounts in our systems (e.g. if they are known as Johnathon Smith in CRM but you add the learner as John Smith in CVENT, this will create duplicate records for the individual).
Ideally, we encourage people to use their full name (no abbreviations / shortened versions) as this may cause issues further down the line (e.g. when trying to match up a DBS record)
If this is the first cricket event/course a person is signing up to, they will not have an existing CRM account, so be sure to enter their full name and email when inviting them through CVENT.
** SYC (Safeguarding Young Cricketers) courses only **
The person should already have a CRM account because if they do not, this means they have no they have no prior qualifications / affiliations with the ECB and SYC is only available to those who have already completed a face-to-face Safeguarding course.
